SUMMARY:From AI Panic to AI Progress: What Business Leaders Should Do Next
DESCRIPTION:AI in Action 2026: Business Summit brought together leaders from across Northern New England to explore what it really takes to put AI to work. This virtual session continues that conversation with a practical focus on what leaders should do next. \nJoin Usama Fayyad\, senior vice provost for AI and data strategy and senior advisor to the president\, Northeastern University\, and Liz Kohler\, managing director of strategy\, operations\, and growth\, Northeastern University’s Roux Institute\, for a 30-minute discussion on how organizations can move from urgency to action. The conversation will explore the themes many leaders are navigating now: where AI can create real business value\, why data readiness still matters\, how agentic workflows are changing work\, where technical debt can emerge\, and how talent\, culture\, and human oversight shape successful adoption. \nWhy attend? Learn how to ask better questions\, avoid common pitfalls\, and identify productive next steps. \nHave a question for Usama or Liz? Submit one when you register and help us keep the conversation focused on the real AI challenges you need to solve.
