Breakthrough Maine event series presents 7 new events to drive innovation and collaboration
Presented by Northeastern University’s Roux Institute and Maine Technology Institute, the Breakthrough Maine event series brings innovators, entrepreneurs, students, researchers, and community members together to showcase Maine’s innovation ecosystem and foster collaboration across the region.
“This fall’s Breakthrough Maine event series builds on the momentum of last year’s events and the connections they made possible across our community, and none of it would be possible without partners like the Maine Technology Institute,” said Mike Pollastri, senior vice provost and leader of the Roux Institute. “We’re grateful for MTI’s continued commitment to Maine’s innovation ecosystem as our Impact Partner. As we launch this fall’s events and look ahead to 2027, we’re reminded that the strongest ecosystems are built together. That spirit of collaboration will carry us into 2028, when our new Portland campus opens and gives us even more room to grow.”
Through the inaugural Breakthrough Maine event series, we brought thousands of people together, made possible with the support of MTI. Intrapreneurship for Nonprofits helps Maine nonprofits apply entrepreneurial thinking to strengthen their missions and expand their impact. It equips leaders with tools to develop new revenue streams, refine business models, explore pricing and marketing strategies, and build a strong online presence.
