The Casco is Portland’s newest apartment residence, a majestic building set at the top of Portland’s renowned Old Port District. The tallest building in Maine, The Casco offers unparalleled views of the ocean, and anchors you into Portland’s most walkable areas.

The amenities here are very helpful. For someone who loves cooking, like myself, having a fully equipped kitchen is fantastic. We’re also excited about the new gym. Additionally, the security is very reliable, ensuring that we feel safe at all times.

Occupancy will vary by lease and unit terms. 

Student housing leases at Nightingale are offered as one of three floor plans. For the one bedroom shared unit, the common space bedroom is $825 per month, and the private bedroom is $1,375/month. The single occupancy studio floorplan leases for $1,760/month and the single occupancy one bedroom leases at $2,200/month. All lease include utilities and generous lifestyle amenities.

Our student housing leases are based on 12-month leases, available to students within the first year of their program at the Roux Institute at Northeastern University.

Our student housing leases include basic utilities such as electric, water, trash and Wi-Fi, based on standard usage.  

Yes, Wi-Fi internet is included in your lease, based on standard usage.

Your lease will place you in an area that is walkable to campus, with area amenities including restaurants, shopping, arts and culture. Public transportation is available, and the entire Portland peninsula is bike-friendly, with bike-share stations (bikes for rent) and bike parking located throughout the city.

Yes, all of our student housing options include in-unit kitchen amenities. 

Yes, all of our student housing options include a washer and dryer in-unit. 

Parking is not included in lease terms. However, there are area options for parking.

Pets may be permitted, on a case-by-case basis. Redfern will help evaluate your situation, and explain what amenities may be available for use, such as the pet spa at Nightingale.

Yes. These housing options are walkable to campus, allowing you convenient access to classes, events, student interest groups, social outings, and meeting space.

Our student housing leases are designed to ensure that students within the first year of their academic program at the Roux Institute are able to secure housing to support a seamless onboarding experience. With high demand for limited units, we are not able to offer lease renewals. However, we have resources available to help guide you into finding housing on your own beyond your first year.
