November 15 @ 9:00 am - November 16 @ 4:00 pm

WFA is a two-day course and focuses on the basic skills of: Response and Assessment, Musculoskeletal Injuries, Environmental Emergencies, Soft Tissue Injuries, and Medical Emergencies. It will run from approximately 9:00am – 4:00pm on BOTH Saturday and Sunday, November 15th and 16th. Registration is required. Ability to attend both Saturday and Sunday is required. The course is a mix of classroom instruction and skills training. We use scenarios (where you may be a pretend patient!), demonstrations, and hands-on exercises to emphasize the material. WFA is the perfect course for someone interested in what it takes to provide patient care in an outdoor environment, when resources are limited, and help may be far away. WFA is great for the outdoor enthusiast, trip leader, or for anyone interested in learning more about patient care! Upon course completion you’ll receive a SOLO Wilderness First Aid certification which is good for two years.
