FAQs

We are always interested in hearing more about what our partners need. Schedule time to share your thoughts so we can learn more!

We offer a range of options for course length, from bite-sized workshops to in-depth graduate level courses.  Meet with our team to learn more about the options for the specific course that you have in mind.

The longer the course, the more time we have built in for partner-specific experiential projects, collaborative work, instructor feedback and detailed content.

We usually set a minimum of 15 participants for a custom course, although there are some cases where we can run a course for fewer learners.

For most of our virtual classes, we can run a cohort of up to 50 learners at a given time. However, depending on your team and the content, we might suggest smaller groups.

We avoid screen sharing and long lectures, instead engaging participants through breakout rooms, chat, discussion boards, polls, activities and more.

Our courses are designed for all employees in the workplace, ranging from those on the front line to executives who are looking to build skills and drive strategy in data analytics, AI and project management. We offer both technical and non-technical offerings to best serve a range of roles and learners.

Yes, many of our learning experiences have an associated digital badge. All learners that successfully complete these learning experiences receive the badge, which is a visual micro-credential that shows they have engaged in skill development at a specified level. The badge can be shared on social media and includes the date of issue, the skills covered, and the earning criteria.

In addition, we work closely with our partners to ensure that our learning experiences meet CLE credit needs.

While we don’t offer grants directly, we have partnered with the Alfond Foundation, which offers the Harold Alfond Center Workforce Development Grant.

This grant offers workforce training financial support for Maine residents and is available as a 50/50 match of up to $1,200 per worker through December 2024. Half of the training cost is paid by the Harold Alfond Center and the other half is paid by the employer.
