Joshua Carbonell
Enrollment Counselor
Joshua Carbonell is an Enrollment Counselor at the Roux Institute. Carbonell has over five years of higher education experience in admissions, student engagement, and event management. Prior to joining the Roux Institute, Carbonell supported students at the University of New England in Biddeford, Maine and Northeastern University in Boston, Massachusetts.
Carbonell has a Master’s of Education with a Higher Education Administration concentration from Northeastern University, a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from the University of New England, and a certificate in Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion from the University of South Florida.
A Vermont native, Carbonell now lives on the southern coast of Maine. He enjoys spending his time hiking New England peaks, exploring southern Maine’s local cuisine, and performing live music.
