Allyson Goida

Senior Program Manager, Future of Healthcare Founder Residency

The Roux Institute is proud to offer unparalleled access to Northeastern University’s global research community and expansive entrepreneurial ecosystem backed by our network of founders, investors, mentors, and partners. Allyson Goida facilitates an immersive experience for portfolio founders to accelerate their companies, connecting them to all resources in the ecosystem. Allyson is proud to manage the Future of Healthcare Founder Residency, a yearlong program for health tech startups designed in partnership with Northern Light Health and MaineHealth.

Allyson began her career in international development and community dietetics. After two years serving in the Peace Corps Nepal as a health/food security volunteer she worked as a WIC Dietetic Nutritionist in Dorchester, MA. Answering the call to work internationally once more she then spent four years working for service learning and education, INGO buildOn, a job which required her to have a home base in Nepal but brought her to Haiti, Malawi, and Senegal, honing skills in program management in resource limited settings, experiential learning, and stakeholder management. When relocating to the US, Allyson was thrilled to find the Roux Institute, a place where she could think globally, and act locally. She is most fulfilled when supporting high growth companies co-located right here at the Roux Institute in Portland, Maine. When she isn’t traveling the world, you can find her putting the finishing touches on the home she built with her partner in New Gloucester, Maine or on the ocean lobstering in their boat, the Dilly Dilly.
