The Climate & Sustainability Hub, designed in collaboration with the Maine Department of Energy Resources, is transforming climate innovation in New England. The program supports early-stage climatetech companies, cultivating a thriving ecosystem and positioning Maine as a premier hub for sustainable technology. It now supports a portfolio of 25+ companies that have collectively raised over $32 million in capital since inception. In recognition of its impact, the ClimateTech Incubator was honored with ClimateWork Maine’s “Climate Collaborator Award.”
Health & Life Sciences Hub supports entrepreneurs tackling Maine’s most pressing health challenges by fostering a dynamic health tech ecosystem that drives venture creation, attracts investment, and generates jobs. Delivered in partnership with MaineHealth, Northern Light Health, and Maine Venture Fund, the program provides founders with mentorship, resources, and a collaborative network to accelerate their impact. Since its inception, the program has built a portfolio of more than 25 companies, helped raise over $10 million in capital, created 10+ jobs in Maine, and served more than 150 patients across the state.
Maine stands poised to become a leader in national security and dual-use technology innovation by supporting both early-stage and established companies seeking to scale or pivot into dual-use markets.
The National Security Innovation Hub (NSIH) bridges critical gaps in Maine’s innovation infrastructure accelerating the development of technologies that serve both civilian and national security applications. Through partnerships, mentorship, and access to federal innovation networks, the Hub strengthens Maine’s role in advancing national competitiveness while driving local economic growth.
