Jesse Billingham

Program Manager

Jesse Billingham is a Program Manager at the Roux Institute with a focus on Life Sciences, Health, and Engineering. Billingham manages a post-baccalaureate, pre-clinical Gap Year program for aspiring healthcare professionals. He is also involved in conversations about expanding experiential learning opportunities in the clinical space and innovative rural health initiatives and is excited to be in a role supporting the broader life sciences and healthcare networks in Maine.

Prior to the Roux, Billingham’s career centered on training and education in the public health and non-profit environmental arenas. He has a BS in Natural Resource Management and an MS in Environmental Public Health. Billingham has also worked as an EMT on ambulance crews, on skis, in the water, and in the backcountry. Outside of work, you can find him running, skiing, and climbing with his wife and their pup, Cora.
