Liv McMillan is the Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) Program Manager at the Roux Institute, bringing over 15 years of expertise in fostering a positive safety culture and ensuring compliance with safety and environmental regulations. A strong advocate for behavior-based safety, Liv has successfully implemented strategies that have led to a measurable reduction in safety incidents.

Her professional background spans federal and state environmental regulatory requirements, and safety management. Liv’s career began with the United States Army, where she served as a civilian employee for 15 years, supporting federal environmental regulatory compliance and conducting environmental assessments. Following her tenure with the US Army, Liv transitioned to the manufacturing industry, where she spent three years managing high-hazard activities, including combustible dust, emergency management, OSHA regulatory requirements and overseeing environmental compliance and initiatives.

At the Roux Institute, Liv continues to leverage her extensive experience to promote a safe, compliant, and proactive work environment.

Liv holds a bachelors degree in environmental science with Texas State University. She lives in Kennebunk Maine with her two girls and Newfound, Maeve.
