The Master’s of Science in Information Systems–Bridge is designed to prepare those with non-STEM or nontechnical bachelor’s degrees, or those who want to strengthen their technical backgrounds, to enter the information systems field. Integrating business management, software engineering, and information technology, the program prepares students to design innovative software solutions that fit the complexities of the business world while solving the humanistic needs of the people who use them. You’ll also develop the interpersonal skills needed to succeed across industries.

The comprehensive curriculum emphasizes hands-on learning and provides a personalized learning experience tailored to individual needs..

The program also seeks to identify the challenges of individuals or businesses and prepare students with the skills and knowledge to address those needs. Students are prepared to meet industry demands and be able to adapt to a rapidly changing job market.

All Roux Institute programs provide content relevant to the urgent and emerging needs of industry in Maine and the rapidly evolving regional, national, and global economy. Opportunities for experiential learning will be concentrated in Portland, the state of Maine, and the Northeast region. Students are encouraged to pursue co-ops and special virtual Experiential Network projects with the institute’s founding corporate partners, a group of leading employers in Maine.
