Roux Interdisciplinary Engineering Lab

The Roux Interdisciplinary Engineering Lab (RIEL) is a materials characterization and testing facility located on the Roux Institute campus in Portland, ME. RIEL offers companies access to state-of-the art equipment (and equipment training) to advance materials innovation for their products. Under a flexible monthly fee and straightforward hourly rates for equipment training and usage, companies leverage this unique resource without the need for capital investment.  

Facility users also benefit from proximity to Roux Institute engineering research faculty who may be available to collaborate or consult on materials research and development projects that require advanced materials expertise.
