Michaela Monahan
Director of Research Partnerships, Engineering and Human Data Interaction
Michaela Monahan is a Director of Research Partnerships at the Roux Institute. In her role, Michaela works to advance strategic research partnerships between industry and the Roux Institute. Specifically, Michaela is focused on connecting companies with applied research solutions in engineering and human data interaction that align with their strategic priorities, led by the Roux Institute’s team of world-renowned researchers.
Michaela joined the Roux Institute from a career in strategy consulting for the life sciences and medical technology industry. During her consulting career, she advised senior medical device, diagnostics, digital health and biopharma leaders on winning commercial strategies backed by data and insights — including new market opportunities, product innovation, and corporate development. She started her career working in the nonprofit world in New York City.
Michaela holds an MBA from the University of Michigan’s Ross School of Business and a BA from Colgate University. She is a proud resident of Portland, Maine and loves to explore all of the beautiful natural places the state has to offer.
