Dave Yarin

Part Time Lecturer, Biotechnology

Dave Yarin brings over 30 years of healthcare industry, consulting and project management experience, which he has combined with his lifelong love and passion for music into his current role as the Alliance Manager for Music Partnerships at MedRhythms, a Roux Institute partner company. Prior to his role at MedRhythms, Dave served as an independent advisor to multiple Boards of Directors, including for-profit national hospital systems, international pharmaceutical manufacturers and medical device companies. Dave has significant experience in leading and managing regulatory compliance, due diligence, litigation support, independent review organization (IRO), board advisory, operational and financial consulting projects for healthcare provider, payer and life sciences organizations. In addition, Dave has served several organizations as an interim chief compliance officer, assisted with both negotiation and implementation of corporate integrity agreements, and helped develop and review compliance programs for healthcare provider, payor, life science and non-healthcare organizations. In addition, Dave has served as an expert in multiple litigation matters. Prior to his consulting career, Dave worked as a hospital and physician group practice administrator for multi-specialty groups based in academic medical centers, including Brigham and Women’s Hospital and Boston Children’s Hospital.

In Maine, Dave began teaching the Biotech Enterprise course at The Roux Institute in the Fall of 2021.  Dave is also a member of the MaineHealth Intellectual Property & Business Development Committee, and assisted a task force at Saddleback Mountain with the creation of a health plan and health services model for seasonal employees. Dave earned his BBA at The University of Massachusetts at Amhert, and completed his MBA/MHA degree at Clark University in Worcester, MA.
