Elena Coronado

Director of Partnerships

Elena Coronado is Director of Partnerships at the Roux Institute focused on health and life sciences research development.  Together with the Roux Institute’s research directors, Coronado drives the Institute’s strategic vision to advance research partnerships in computational medicine, observational health data, advanced life sciences, and bioengineering.  

Her passion for education and experiential learning began while studying communications as an undergraduate at Northeastern University and participating in the co-op program. Prior to joining the Roux Institute, Coronado worked in international education, developing global programs for higher ed faculty and students.  

As a native Mainer, she is passionate about education access for Maine students and driving sustainable economic growth in her home state. When not at work, she enjoys spending time in Maine’s great outdoors and planning her next trip abroad (37 countries and counting!).
