Jim Ahearne

Jim Ahearne is Associate Director of Campus Experiences at the Roux Institute, where he leads our events enterprise, expanding the Roux Institute’s mission-oriented reach and impact. In addition to directing the Institute’s signature conference, AI in Action, Ahearne guides colleagues and partners in producing public and private engagements on campus. Ahearne brings 30+ years of experience creating live experiences, beginning with his own successful concert promotion firm in Portland, Maine. Prior to joining the Roux, he was Vice President of Talent for Live Nation Boston, designer of the Thompson’s Point concert venue on Portland’s waterfront, Director of the Common Ground Country Fair for the Maine Organic Farmers and Gardeners Association, and Director of Marketing for the creative design/build studio Transformit. Ahearne resides in Freeport, Maine and holds a Master of Science in Project Management from Northeastern University and a Bachelor of Arts in English from Hobart College.
