Mark Tschiegg

Part-time Lecturer

Mark Tschiegg is a recently retired senior vice president at Swiss Re, a global reinsurance company. He worked there for 41 years in various engineering, quality, and operations roles. From 2007-2024, he was an adjunct faculty member at the University of Connecticut School of Business, teaching “Introduction to Project Management” as part of the MS in Business Analytics and Project Management program. He is now a guest lecturer at The Roux Institute of Northeastern University in Portland, ME, where he teaches project management courses for the MS in Project Management program.

Mark has his Professional Engineer’s License and is a certified Project Management Professional (Project Management Institute). He received his BS from Heidelberg University and his MBA from the University of Connecticut.
