Nhi Mulkern
Career Services and Co-op Advisor
Nhi Mulkern is a Career Services and Co-op Advisor at the Roux Institute. Originally from a small town in the Central Highlands region of Vietnam, Mulkern’s family moved to Portland when she was five years old, and she has since made Maine her home. She has a bachelor’s degree in Sociology and Hispanic Studies from Wheaton College (MA) and a master’s degree in Student Affairs Administration from Michigan State University.
Mulkern is excited to work with students as they take steps towards pursuing their professional goals and being a part of the Roux’s mission to drive economic transformation in Maine. She currently resides on a small island off the coast of Portland with her husband and their two daughters. She enjoys spending quality time with her large extended family, attempting to cook like her mother does, and watching her children grow up by the ocean as fourth generation islanders.
