Philip Bogden
Associate Teaching Professor, Computer Science
Philip Bogden is Associate Teaching Professor of Computer Science, specializing in data visualization, data science, web technologies and AI/ML. Bogden has startup experience and has consulted for a range of clients, including companies in the oil and gas industry and the financial services sector. He was previously CEO of a nonprofit that provided real-time environmental data as a public service, and he spent two years helping develop and implement open data policy and cyberinfrastructure for the National Science Foundation. Philip previously served on the faculty at Yale and UConn, and he has a Ph.D. from University of California and a Bachelors from Harvard.
