Steve Mitchell

Steve is a Maine native. After graduating from Bowdoin College and completing graduate studies in Applied Mathematics at the University of Minnesota, Steve pursued a forty year career at Unum as an Actuary. His experiences at Unum spanned multiple financial roles, including serving as CFO for the largest business segment, and heading a number of operational areas. Outside of work, Steve serves on the Finance Council of his church and as a member of the board of the Boys’ and Girls’ Clubs of Greater Portland.
