Addie Waters
Director of Operations
Addie Waters is the director of operations at the Roux Institute at Northeastern University. Waters has spent over fifteen years supporting operations in scientific research, higher ed campus and research facilities. Born and raised in New York, Waters started her college experience at Northeastern University and transferred to Portland, OR to receive her BS in Organismal Biology. She later completed an MBA from George Mason University.
Along the way, Waters has traveled for over eleven seasons to Antarctica to support scientific research (mostly in the Marine Sciences), as well as lived in Oregon, California, Florida, Colorado, and Virginia. She is happy to call Maine her current home and resides in Windham with her husband, daughter, cat named Marley, and black labrador retriever named Knight. She is an avid SCUBA diver, a certified Commercial Diver/Underwater Welder, a current Emergency Medical Technician, and loves to ski with her family in the winter.
