David Munger

Experiential Pathway Program Manager

David Munger is the Experiential Pathways Program Manager at the Roux Institute and has a background in teaching, workforce development, and outdoor experiential education. Munger is passionate about the power of lifelong experiential learning and co-creating opportunities for students to practically apply skills with local companies and partners. Prior to joining the Roux, Munger led wilderness expeditions with Outward Bound and Apogee Adventures, facilitated leadership and social-emotional learning at Kieve-Wavus Education in MidCoast Maine, and designed entrepreneurial and work-based learning experiences in York County with Apex Youth Connection. Munger has a B.A. in Philosophy from Hamilton College and earned a M.S.Ed. in Education Entrepreneurship from the University of Pennsylvania.

Outside of work, Munger lives in Gorham and spends time with his wife and dog exploring the Maine mountains and water and trying his hand at new recipes in the kitchen.
