Elena Bernal Mor

Assistant Teaching Professor, Electrical and Computer Engineering

Elena Bernal Mor is an assistant teaching professor at the Roux Institute. Dr. Bernal teaches networking and communications courses at the Roux Institute and at the Boston campus of Northeastern University. She received both a M.S. and Ph.D degree in Telecommunication Engineering from the Universitat Politècnica de València (UPV), Spain in 2008 and 2013 respectively.  Dr. Bernal started her research career during her master’s degree with a FPI research scholarship from the Spanish Government. During the winter of 2011, she was a visiting researcher in the Performance Analysis of Telecommunication Systems (PATS) group in Antwerp, Belgium. From October 2011 to May 2012, Dr. Bernal was also a visiting researcher at the Georgia Institute of Technology, in the Broadband Wireless Networking Lab. in Atlanta, Georgia. From January 2015 to August 2019, she was a lecturer at the University at Buffalo, The State University of New York.

Dr. Bernal joined Northeastern University as an assistant teaching professor and a member of the Institute for the Wireless Internet of Things in September of 2019. Her teaching interests are in the areas of networking and communications.
