Maggie Nugent
Senior Copywriter
Maggie Nugent is a senior copywriter and editor at the Roux Institute. Nugent spent the past decade working as a copywriter and content expert in the tech and agency worlds. A writer at heart, she’s passionate about storytelling and is thrilled to be using her combined experience in writing, user experience, and content design to facilitate engaging storytelling here at the Roux Institute.
Nugent was born in Portland and raised in Hiram, Maine, graduated from the University of New Hampshire, and spent time living in New York and Austin before returning to her home state for good in 2017. She resides in Portland with her two cats and spends her free time enjoying the city’s food and music scenes, getting outside with friends and family, and settling down with a good book.
