Sophia Di Risi is a Recruitment & Engagement Manager at The Roux Institute. In this role, she spends time connecting with undergraduate students, faculty, and advisors. Di Risi is a recent graduate from The University of Southern Maine and an alumnus of the Future Global Leaders Program at the Maine International Trade Center.

During her undergraduate program, Di Risi worked with her school’s Career & Employment Hub where she managed the Job Shadow Program, advising students with the opportunity to shadow a Maine business. She recognizes the importance of supporting students through networking opportunities, thus creating the Job Shadow Ambassador program, where previous participants mentor new students.

In Di Risi’s free time, she enjoys volunteering with elementary students and local animal shelters, as well as traveling and experiencing new cultures!
